We pledge to continue a commitment to our family's roots from vineyard to table, based on Salvatore Dominic Scotto's inspiration that has traveled through the generations from Italy to Brooklyn and on to California.

1883

Salvatore Scotto crafts his
first wine in Ischia, Italy.

1903

The family migrates
from Italy to Brooklyn.

1946

Anthony Sr. and brother
Sal create Villa Armando.

1963

The Scottos purchase
their first California
vineyard and winery.

2004

Anthony Scotto III
launches Scotto Cellars.

2012

J. McClelland Cellars is
founded in Napa Valley.

2013

New Lodi winery opens
and Rare Blends become
the #1 volume brand.

2014

J. McClelland
Cellars debuts.

2017

For the first time
Scotto Cellars becomes
a Top 50 California
Winery (WBM).

2018

Cellars sparkling wine
launches nationwide.
